BREAKDOWN

These lines embody the essence of hope and the balance required to maintain it. “When you hold on, it grips back / When you let go, it falls through” highlights that the more you hold onto hope, the more likely you are to take the necessary actions to achieve your goals. But when you let go of hope, you fall deeper into the abyss of uncertainty, where direction and purpose are lost.

I chose to repeat the line, “Let it find you..." to reinforce the idea that hope comes naturally when you stay focused and locked in. As you put in the work and remain committed, the goal becomes clearer, and hope finds its way to you. When I wrote the closing line, “It’s not that complicated,” it was meant to be a reminder that while life is full of complexities, hope should be simple. It’s about staying grounded, believing in your vision, and trusting that consistency will lead you where you’re meant to be.
